Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a large two-story apartment building in the area of 26^th and Vine Streets on Friday evening. As of 8:10 p.m., there were no signs of fire or flames shooting out of the house.

At 8:30 p.m., Vine Street from 25th to 27th streets was closed off. 

The fire was contained by 9 p.m.
