Car slams into front window of Omaha bank
By The Associated Press
OMAHA — Omaha police say clutter littering the floor of a car is to blame for the car crashing into the front of a bank.
Police say no one was seriously injured in the 8 a.m. Tuesday crash at a U.S. Bank branch in southwest Omaha.
Police say the car sped out of a convenience store parking lot, hit a sport utility vehicle, continued through the bank parking lot and into the front window.
Investigating officers say the car’s accelerator had become stuck because of the amount of trash inside of the car.
