Lincoln's fall performing arts season gets under way

The fall performing arts season officially begins this weekend with the Lincoln Community Playhouse opening the musical “Sweet Charity.”
The fall calendar offers a variety of music, theater and dance, with the Lied Center for Performing Arts kicking off its season on Sept. 26 with the touring Broadway show “Sweeney Todd.”
The following is a rundown of performances, with events listed by dates, sponsoring organizations and venues.
