Imagine all the angry people.

Lincoln police are looking for a man, who apparently looks like John Lennon, who’s wanted in connection with 11 garage break-ins in south-central Lincoln.

Victims living in seven of the 11 homes hit on the 2600 block of Piccadilly Court said whoever broke into their garages opened some type of liquid — motor oil, paint primer and the like — and dumped it on the floor or on vehicles, Officer Katie Flood said.

At one home, she said, the perpetrator took chemicals from the garage and dumped them over and inside a Toyota 4 Runner and push lawn mower.

According to police reports, the break-ins resulted in damages and thefts totalling $4,967.

Flood said the man, seen by a victim at 6:45 a.m., had been described as white and in his early 30s, about six feet tall with a thin build and light brown hair. He wore square-frame eyeglasses and looked just like Lennon.
