Omaha facility for young women to open
By The Associated Press
OMAHA — A facility for 17- to 18-year-old women with mental health and substance abuse problems will open near Omaha.
Uta Halee Girls Village is opening Ponca Pines Academy, which is expected to start accepting residents in September.
In addition to counseling and treatment, the young women will receive a college-preparatory education.
The treatment costs $325 per day and is paid by the patient’s family. Ponca Pines is located on the north side of the Uta Halee campus, north of Omaha.
