A 29-year-old woman was robbed as she walked home early Tuesday.
The woman was walking home in the 900 block of Capitol Avenue around 12:20 a.m. when an unknown man approached her and grabbed her purse, said Capt. Jim Thoms.
She fell backwards onto some steps, jamming a finger, and she screamed as he took off with her purse, Thoms said. The purse and contents were valued at $74.

Hopefully people can put these traits together and avoid these situations. I hope the perps are caught, but being out alone after midnight is inviting trouble into your life. "

How dare you people that don't have or choose not to use gas powered vehicles be out after dark??!!??
Just what are you thinking inviting trouble?? I mean, how dare you think that you should have the freedom to walk or ride a bicycle without being robbed or beaten up??
Now..you just remember all you whipper snappers that are just asking to be robbed, that if they start robbing people and beating people up BEFORE midnight, that you had better adjust your schedule accordingly. No 3pm to 11pm jobs for you!!!
Better yet, you probably shouldn't ever go out after dark again!! We don't want you inviting trouble! "

No one ever says it is a good idea to go out walking alone at that hour but it is still sad to see more and more reasons why. "
