All-star softball game set for July 30

Nebraska recruits and Lincoln Journal Star first-team Super-State players Ashley Hagemann and Nikki Haget of Elkhorn headline the 2008 Nebraska Coaches Association all-star softball teams.
The teams will play a doubleheader July 30 at 5 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium. This is the fourth year for the all-star game.
Hagemann and Haget will play for the blue team, along with Lincoln Southwest first-team Super-Stater players Dani Bryant and Madison Drake, a Nebraska walk-on.

Beatrice’s Jamie Gay will be on the red team.
Southwest’s Jackie Nordell and Sarah Hoehne of Southeast will play for the blue team, while Lincoln East’s Amanda Forgey joins the blue team.
Mike Witt of Northwest and Dan Hogan of Papillion-La Vista South will coach the red team. Blue team coaches are Dennis Dodge of Beatrice and Tom McCall of Milford.
