Lincoln man sentenced in drug case
U.S. District Judge Richard Kopf on Thursday sentenced Michael D. Washington, 33, of Lincoln to 11 years in prison for his role in a drug conspiracy. Authorities said Washington conspired with others to distribute crack cocaine in Lincoln between late 2004 and September 2007.
During their investigation, undercover officers made several drug purchases from Washington, according to the U.S. attorney for Nebraska.
As part of a deal, Washington pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine in exchange for dismissal of two additional counts.
