Man robbed outside Big John's
By the Lincoln Journal Star
A 24-year-old Lincoln man suffered a broken jaw after two men robbed him outside Big John's Billiards Wednesday night.
The man told police he was standing in front of the business at Fourth Street and Sun Valley Boulevard around 10:20 p.m. when two unknown men approached him and began to punch him, said Capt. Jim Thoms.
One of the men told the victim to stay away from his girl, Thoms said.
They punched him four times in the face, then one of them reached into his pocket and stole the victim’s work I.D., Thoms said. They struck him four more times before leaving in two separate cars.
The victim suffered several cuts and abrasions, Thoms said. When he went to the hospital, he learned he had a broken jaw and received three stitches to a cut above his left eye.
