BEATRICE — A former employee of Beatrice-based Jet Racing Inc. has pleaded not guilty to taking more than $57,000 from the company.

Jami Grabouski, 49, is charged in Gage County District Court with felony theft for allegedly writing unauthorized checks from company accounts between January 2006 and December 2007.

Court records say 21 checks were written out to credit card companies and loan offices, and 11 others were to financial institutions and Grabouski’s family members.
