Ahnsti wrote on July 4, 2008 6:15 pm:
" All of this commotion is an afront to those who have been victimized by this society. The flag you wave is not MY FLAG and the songs you sing are not MY SONGS! We are living in ONE WORLD, and you so-called "americans" should be ashamed of yourselves. "

An American wrote on July 4, 2008 8:39 pm:
" Note to Ahnsti. I was born "American", I live as an "American" and I will die "American" and proud of it. I grow weary of people with your attitude. The American Society does have it's problem but anywhere you go in your "ONE WORLD" you will find the same problem and more. So if "all this commotion is an affront" to you why are you still here. If you don't like our society leave! "

Why.... wrote on July 5, 2008 10:53 am:
" Are you relying on the city to create you own events and family fun? Some of my best memories of the fourth are simply bringing a frisbee or a football and tossing it around, catching lightning bugs, and visiting with friends. It doesn't all have to be structured and preplaned. Here's an idea, quit complaining about how the city doesn't do things X city does, and enjoy the day for that it's worth. "
