Robbery suspect arrested in bank's drive-up lane
By The Associated Press
PLATTSMOUTH — A robbery suspect is arrested in the drive-up lane of an Omaha bank.
It started when a 45-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle in a Plattsmouth Dollar General parking lot. Police say a man approached her with a knife, forced her into her vehicle and drove away.
The woman was able to escape several blocks away, and gave police a detailed description of the man.
Officers got information that the man might be on his way to First National Bank in downtown Omaha or another location. They warned the bank, and employees there called Omaha police when the carjacked vehicle pulled up in the drive-up lane at the bank.
Police found the vehicle in the drive-up lane and arrested a 38-year-old Plattsmouth man.
