A judge Wednesday sentenced Dustin L. Miller, 19, to 360 days in Lancaster County Jail for his role in a home invasion incident last year.

Lancaster County District Judge Jodi Nelson sentenced Miller to two 90-day terms for criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespassing, and a 180-day term on a terroristic threats charge.

Authorities said Miller, Tyler Holbrook and two juvenile boys broke into a home on Northwest Sixth Street on July 9 and threatened one of the residents. The incident apparently stemmed from an earlier disturbance between the resident and one of the juveniles, authorities said.

Nelson sentenced Holbrook, 23, in January to three years in prison on terroristic threats, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing charges.

One of the juveniles received one year of probation in Lancaster County Juvenile Court. An attorney said Wednesday authorities apparently did not file a juvenile court petition against the other boy.

In remarks before the sentencing, Miller apologized for his actions.

“I’ve learned my lesson,” he said. “I know it isn’t right. I’m trying hard to correct this.”

" I worked with Dustin when he was a juvenile offender. He is a great kid and has a WORLD of potential...I hope he HAS learned his lesson and is trying to correct it. After so many years of this behavior, it is sad to me that he cannot see all the good he has to offer. "
