A woman called police for help Tuesday evening when her 26-year-old son allegedly went out of control, breaking 27 windows in her home and car.

Jeremiah Gillander was standing in the front yard, holding a pipe when police arrived at his mother’s home in Gaslight Village, said Officer Katie Flood. His mother told police her son had been rambling as he broke the windows, and he was addicted to methamphetamine.

Gillander allegedly used two metal pipes to break windows in his mother’s home, all the windows in her Chrysler Fifth Avenue, two ceramic pots and a glass table top, Flood said. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
