Woman sentenced on meth charges

A Lincoln woman who pleaded guilty in February to dealing methamphetamine will spend six years and four months in prison.
U.S. Magistrate Judge David L. Piester sentenced Patricia Lou Rock, 34, to no less than five years and up to 40 years in prison for possessing and conspiring to distribute 50 or more grams of methamphetamine.
Rock is also ordered to forfeit $1,373 to the United States.
Rock was the subject of an investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force from about May 1, 2007 to Aug. 31, 2007.
She pleaded guilty in February to distributing and possessing with the intent to distribute at least 200 but no more than 350 grams of meth. She has been in custody since Aug. 31.
