Two arrested for dozens of acts of vandalism
Lincoln police have arrested two people on suspicion of committing approximately 30 incidents of vandalism that did more than $6,000 in damage.
Bradley S. Allen, 21, and a 16-year-old male allegedly slashed tires and knocked down mailboxes near 42nd and High streets Friday night and early Saturday morning, said Lincoln Police Capt. Dennis Duckworth.
Allen was also arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana.
Duckworth said the suspects don’t live in the area of the alleged crimes.
“We’ve had contacts with them in the past,” he said. “We expect more reports (of vandalism).”
They were arrested at 5:20 a.m. after police were called and set up a perimeter in the area. Both suspects are in police custody.
