Divers from Gage, Jefferson and Thayer counties will spend Thursday evening and part of the weekend searching several lakes near the home of a Filley woman who disappeared more than three weeks ago.

Ann Marie Kelley was last seen driving through Beatrice at about 8:30 a.m. April 15.

Gage County Attorney Randall Ritnour said investigators had no reason to believe that Kelley might be in one of the lakes.

“The only reason we had (the divers) out was just as a precaution,” he said.

A diving team also searched area lakes Tuesday, he said.

Since her disappearance, investigators have heard of no sightings of the 37-year-old mother of four, nor of her vehicle, a dark gray 1991 Plymouth Voyager with wood-paneling. She has not used her credit card or made any bank transactions, Ritnour said.

Investigators have conducted ground and air searches for Kelley, and Ritnour called a press conference last week to ask the public for information about Kelley’s whereabouts.

But investigators have received little information, Ritnour said.

Emergency managers within about a 350-mile radius of Kelley’s rural Filley home have been asked to keep their eyes peeled for a woman matching Kelley’s description: 5 feet 4 inches tall, 125-130 pounds, with reddish brown hair and blue eyes.

The Kansas  Department of Wildlife and Parks has offered use of SONAR equipment for further searches of area lakes, Ritnour said.

The SONAR search had not yet been scheduled, Ritnour said.

Anyone with information on Kelley can call Beatrice Crime Stoppers at (402) 228-4343.

" If the sonar has been offered, I wold hope they wouldn't hesitate to use it. It's not looking real promising for this lady, but I would sure believe the family would rather know sooner than later if their loved one is't coming back. My prayers go out to this lady and her family and may God grant the authorities direction to find her. "

" If this woman has reddish-brown hair as decribed, why is there a photo of a blonde woman with this story. It certainly couldn't hurt to have a more current photo available to help with the search. God bless these children and the rest of the family. "

" If you would look at all the photos they have released she looks different in all of them. Unless you knew her prior, it would be hard to recognize her by the photos. "
