The Nebraska softball team dropped its regular-season finale Sunday at Bowlin Stadium, giving up two home runs to Amanda Renth in a 9-4 loss to Missouri.

Renth and Rhea Taylor homered in the third and fourth innings, respectively, and the Tigers (44-14, 11-6 Big 12) jumped to a 7-0 lead after four innings.

The Huskers (22-27, 4-14) rallied, though, as Abby Hughes drove in NU’s first run in the bottom of the fourth. Nebraska added three runs in the fifth on Missouri errors to cut the deficit to 7-4.

But Renth smacked a two-run homer, her 19th, in the sixth inning.

Stacy Delaney (18-3) got the win, allowing four runs and seven hits in four innings before giving way to Jen Bruck. Bruck pitched a hitless final three innings to keep Nebraska at bay and pick up the save.

Molly Hill (12-16) took the loss.

Brittany Pascale paced Nebraska with a 2-for-3 performance for her first multi-hit game of the year.

Nebraska will enter the Big 12 Tournament as the No. 10 seed. The Huskers will face seventh-seeded Kansas in the opening round Friday at 5 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
