Five members of the Nebraska women’s team earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors: seniors Elli Brown and Allison Stewart, and sophomores JC Stevenson, Kate White and Charlotte Wendner.

The Huskers will compete at the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championships, which begin Friday in Stillwater, Okla.

TENNIS: Nebraska women’s senior Imke Reimers and sophomore Wiveca Swarting were named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team. Reimers was one of just four players to have a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. ... The NU men placed four on the Academic All-Big 12 teams. Junior Renato Melo and sophomore Francois Van Impe were named to the first team, while senior Mark Tate and junior Hendrik Stahmer were named to the second team.
