NU news: Husker soccer team loses to Creighton
The Nebraska women’s soccer team lost to Creighton 1-0 in an exhibition match Saturday in Omaha.
The game was scoreless before the Bluejays scored late.
* GOLF: The Nebraska women are tied for 10th after the first day of the Lady Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. NU freshman Mary Kate Bird withdrew because of the flu, and senior Allison Stewart fought her way to a 170 score despite being sick.
* GYMNASTICS: Nebraska senior Stephen Tetrault failed to advance to the individual event finals at the NCAA Championships in Palo Alto, Calif. Three other Huskers also failed to advance.
