Car crashes into SouthPointe directory
Police, emergency responders and a tow truck made a trip to SouthPointe Pavilions after a blue Ford Taurus ran into a mall directory sign outside Bed Bath & Beyond at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver, a 50-year-old man, suffered a laceration above his eye, and was taken to BryanLGH Medical Center West, Lincoln Police Capt. Jim Davidsaver said.
At 9:30 p.m. Davidsaver said it was still unclear why the car ran the curb and hit the sign.
