Huskers' game at Iowa called off
By the Lincoln Journal Star
Nebraska’s baseball game at Iowa scheduled for Tuesday night has been canceled because of inclement weather and expected cold temperatures in the Iowa City area.
The game will not be rescheduled.
The Huskers, 24-4-1 overall and leading the Big 12 Conference at 10-1-1, now head to Oklahoma State for a three-game series Friday through Sunday.
NU is ranked No. 6 by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll. The Cowboys -- 20-9 overall entering a two-game series against Western Illinois today and Wednesday, and 6-6 in the Big 12 -- are No. 21 according to Baseball America and 25th in the coaches' poll.
