Teens cited for smoking marijuana near bank
Five teenagers were cited for trespassing and four were cited for smoking marijuana near a trash bin behind a bank early Thursday.
Police were alerted to suspicious activity at the Union Bank at 27th Street and Pine Lake Road at 2:35 a.m., Chief Tom Casady said.
When officers arrived, they found a group of young men in a fenced-in enclosure near a trash bin, sitting around an 18-inch water bong and smoking marijuana, Casady said.
Micah M. Miller, 19, was cited on suspicion of trespassing, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, Officer Katie Flood said. Two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old were cited on suspicion of marijuana possession and trespassing, and another 16-year-old was cited on suspicion of trespassing.
