Body found in burned-out car in Richardson County
FALLS CITY — Authorities investigating a body found in a burned-out car along a Richardson County road don’t believe foul play was involved.
Nebraska State Patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins said the body found Wednesday morning has been identified, but the victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of family.
She said the death did not appear to be suspicious.
The car was sitting alongside the road between Stella and Barada, about 11 miles north of Falls City.
Questions about where it came from and how the fire started remain unanswered
The body will be autopsied to establish the cause of death.
