" 3 out of 5 all city players are from southeast!? What a program they have. I heard (from one of my daughters good friends) that their program as a whole was 65-3 this year, with freshmen, jv, and varsity only losing one game! Way to go southeast. That's impressive. "

" Didn't Kastanek play not even half of the season? That's not fair at all. "

" Let me get this straight. You select Katie Birkel as your "captain" when she doesn't even make the OWH SuperState 1st team (and Houser and Kastanek do)? You paper's obsession with the Birkel's is unseemly. Shame on you. "

" Can we be done with the whole Kastanek issue? She got what she wanted. Let's move on.

Please focus on someone in athletics that does something special, someone who not only excels in athletics, but the classroom, community service, etc.
