* BASEBALL: The Huskers’ four-game series against Northern Colorado, originally set to begin on Friday, has been pushed back one day because of expected cold temperatures on Friday. The teams now will play at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, a doubleheader beginning at 12:05 p.m. Sunday and a final game at 1:35 p.m. Monday. Fans who purchased tickets for Saturday and Sunday’s games should still use them on those days. Those who had tickets for Friday can use them either Monday or for general admission seating for any remaining regular-season game thereafter.

* WRESTLING: Husker sophomores Craig Brester and Stephen Dwyer have been chosen to the Academic All-Big 12 teams announced Tuesday. Brester, a mechanized systems major from Howells, was chosen to the first team, which is comprised of students carrying grade-point averages of 3.20 or better. Dwyer, a native of Rockton, Ill., who has yet to declare a major, was on the second team (for those with GPAs of 3.00-3.19). … The NAIA wrestling national championships begin today at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

* SOCCER: The Nebraska women’s soccer team opens the home portion of its spring exhibition schedule Sunday with a pair of contests against Drake and South Dakota State. The Huskers take on the Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m. before squaring off against the Jackrabbits at 1:30 p.m.
