Rousey elected to State Fair Board

Marvin Rousey of North Platte has been elected to the Nebraska State Fair Board.
Rousey will represent District 5 as one of the seven elected members of the board. Also earning a three-year term during the recent Nebraska Association of Fair Managers meeting in Kearney was Joe Andrews of Bassett.
Rousey has served for 28 years on the Lincoln County Fair Board. He is also a former president of the county fair managers board.
Andrews won re-election to the state fair board representing District 7. In related action at the Kearney meeting, he was also named “fair person of the year.”
Among his winner’s credentials are 43 years of service on the Rock County Fair Board.
