Ron Case elected as head of Lower Platte South NRD Board

A five-year veteran of the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District Board of Directors was elected chair for 2008.
Ron Case of Lincoln was named to the post Wednesday. He served as vice chair in 2007 and secretary in 2006.
Case represents subdistrict 3, which includes Lancaster County northeast of Lincoln and a small part of Saunders County. He replaced Larry Zimmerman of Lincoln.
Other officers elected: David Potter of Valparaiso, vice chair, and Marsha Babcock of Elmwood, treasurer. Kristin Yates of Lincoln was re-elected secretary.
Dan Steinkruger of Lincoln was re-elected as the board’s representative to the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts.
