Here's a list of some of the city's best holiday light displays. We'll publish your suggestions here on the Web and in the print edition on Dec. 25. Send pictures of the best displays to www.journalstar.com/community/photos.

Here are a few to pass along:

- The house at the northwest corner of 10th and Washington streets is once again aglow and flashing.

- Don’t miss the display at 112th Street just south of O Street.

- The display at 910 190th St. (north of O Street, on the road toward Eagle) grows every years and is “beautiful,” a caller says.

5521 Pawnee St. The Enchanted Forest has again expanded and features 13,545 lights on 26 trees, shrubs and bushes, we’re told. Be sure to stop to watch the lights in motion.

- The southwest corner of 52nd and Garland streets features unusual shaped trees and bushes covered with lights and lighted ornaments.

- 7147 S. Eldora Lane.

- There’s a computerized display synchronized to music at 1701 Annette Lane. The music plays from 5:30-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

- Roll down your windows to hear the music synched to the lights at 4840 N. 20th St. We’re told an 11-year-old created this whole display.

- The setup at 2430 Dorothy Drive features Disney characters, Santas, a nativity scene, Charlie Brown, candy canes and more spilling into neighbors’ yards.

5501 S. 68th St. includes a manger scene set up in the gazebo and many electrically lit luminarias.

- 73rd and Glynoaks Drive.

To send along your suggestions for great displays, call Kathy Steinauer Smith at 473-7251 with the location and description of the lights, or e-mail them to citydesk@journalstar.com.
