Lincoln East won the third-place match at the Great Nebraska Shootout 55-46 over Bellevue West. Kelsey Newman finished with 16 points.
The Spartans, who were down 39-36 heading into the final quarter, used strong defensive pressure to force numerous turnovers. Senior Erin Reynoldson, who finished with 15 points, scored eight fourth-quarter points.
The Spartans were 7-of-11 from the free-throw line.
