Two motorcycles worth $56,000 stolen from dealership

Lincoln Police were searching Sunday night for two motorcycles worth more than $56,000 reported stolen from Carpenter Motors at 57th and O streets.

Sometime overnight Saturday or Sunday morning, the two motorcycles were taken from the business’ showroom, after someone pried open the northwest door, causing $50 damage.

The bikes taken were a $38,000 Bourget painted black and burgundy, and an $18,078 Independence Freedom Express painted black and purple.
