GREENWOOD — Two bodies were found Sunday morning by officers responding to field fire call in Cass County, the sheriff’s office said.
Officers responded to the call near Greenwood at about 8:15 a.m., and found the bodies and a car at the scene, Capt. Dave Lamprecht of the Cass County Sheriff’s office said in a statement. Greenwood is about 16 miles northeast of Lincoln.
The bodies were not identifiable, Lamprecht said.
Lamprecht declined to comment further on the situation.
