CHADRON — A 5-year-old girl is dead after an all-terrain vehicle crash. The Chadron girl and her father were riding the four-wheeler up a hill when it flipped, killing the girl, Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug said.

Haug said he will not release the girl’s name until her family has been notified of her death.

The crash is being investigated, but nothing has indicated the wreck was anything other than an accident, Haug said.
