Luke Alexander, a financial advisor with the local Lincoln office of Wells Fargo Advisors has completed training for the title of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. This program is offered through the College for Financial Planning, the country's oldest provider of financial planning education.

"Financial advisors who are awarded the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor title are not only prepared to identify opportunities in investments but also in such areas as insurance, tax-efficient investing, retirement and estate planning," Loy Olson, branch manager of Wells Fargo Advisors Lincoln office said. Chartered Retirement Planning Counselors have in-depth knowledge of the investment-planning process and understand that as clients gain wealth, they likely have more complex financial needs.

To become a CRPC Luke Alexander successfully completed 120 hours of training focused on subjects such as asset allocation, retirement planning and risk management. 

Alexander resides in Lincoln and is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law and his Masters of Business Administration from the University Of Nebraska College Of Business. Mr. Alexander is active in the community, volunteering with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln Young Professionals Group, Lend-A Hand-To-Lincoln-Day, and the Make a Wish Foundation.
