The 2009 Science and Service awards from SAMSHA recognize public and private-sector organizations, as well as community-based coalitions, that work to improve their communities and the lives of individuals by providing the best behavioral health services possible.

Organizations chosen for the awards must demonstrate exemplary implementation of evidence-based interventions shown to measurably prevent and/or treat mental illnesses and substance abuse. There were only nine awards given across the country in the category of co-occurring disorders treatment.

CenterPointe offers a full continuum of behavioral health care for people with co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders including Short and Long-term Residential, Outpatient counseling, supportive Case Management, Day Rehabilitation, Assertive Community Treatment and Housing.
