Whitehead Oil Company, a family-owned, Lincoln-based fuel supplier and convenience store operator, announces the opening of its newest U-Stop location at 21st and K Streets. This will be the first U-Stop to feature a partnership with the McDonald's national food chain.
Rogge Construction began work on the new U-Stop convenience store late in July, but planning for the location started about seven years ago.
"From the start, the city challenged us to build a store that fit the area and would complement the efforts of the Antelope Valley Transportation planners," said Mark Whitehead, president of Whitehead Oil. "We hope that we have not only met but exceeded those expectations."
